1.-Do you have references?

Yes,We do have local references available as well testimonials of past customers.

  2.-Licensed,Bonded,Insured?

No,We are not a licensed contractor.

3.-How long would it take you to complete a Floor Tile Removal job?

Every Job is different;but generally we can have your floor tile demolition done in a single day.Not two tile removal projects are alike, but we can do our best to have
your floor tile removal project complete in the same day.

  4.-What is your availability?

Usually a 7 days notice works out perfectly, although small tile removal jobs could be schedule on short notice.

5.-Why Saltillo Tile Removal is more expensive than ceramic?

Because, Saltillo tile is one of the hardest tiles to remove.it chips in small pieces and the mortar bed is usually over 1/2 " thick .Besides the grout joints are over 3/4" wide
with cement instead of regular grout (the old school type installation).
Saltillo tile weights over 5 lb per SF (is almost 3/4" thick)
But our Affordable price for saltillo tile removal ,still will be Cheap at Twice the Price.Besides the peace of mind that you'll have knowing that your floor tile removal
job will stay at the same price, even if your floor tile is harder than normal to remove.

6.-Is Ceramic floor tile easier to remove?

Ceramic floor tile removal is as hard as any other tile it only depends how
the slab was prepared prior  tile installation and what type of mortar was used.Sometimes ceramic tile is harder to remove than saltillo tile flooring.

  7.-Does Floor Tile size matters?

When it comes to Floor tile (and bank accounts) size does matter. The bigger
The tile the harder it gets to tear out. Also there is thicker thin set mortar bed
to scrape.Usually a 18x18 porcelain or ceramic tile will be thicker than normal
tile and will have to have at least 1/2" mortar bed.If correct installed.Although
Most tile installation nowadays are poor compared to old school tile installations.

8.-Is there a flat price per SF for Tile Demolition?

No,There is not a flat price per Square foot.
I receive a lot of calls asking about the price per square foot. Each floor tile
removal project is unique. That is the reason why there is not a flat rate per SF.
Floor Tile Demolition is not rocket science; But is not enchiladas
either. If you need to know how much will your tile demolition cost, please
fill out our quote form (include as many details about your floor as you remember like size of tile, square footage, type of tile ,etc).
We will get back to you as soon as possible.

9.-What's the advantage  to scrape the old mortar after floor tile demolition?

Every flooring installation starts with a clean concrete slab.
Having a clean concrete slab will help you see settlement cracks( even small hairline cracks) on the concrete slab. That can be repaired before your flooring installation.Finding a good flooring installation company will be the trick part ,because they will send out crews with little or not experience on the field.Check
references 3 or 4 at least. This little step will save you headaches.
All flooring installations need to have the old mortar removed.Unless it is necessary
to create a thicker mortar bed.(rare cases;but there is always exceptions to the rule)

No,Our Price is upfront,no surprises ever.

accepted. Most floor tile removal jobs are hard we are prepared for the hardest.

16.-What happens if there is tile underneath tile?
If there is tile underneath tile We will charge you accordingly depending on the square footage.

17.-Can a tile setter lay tile over tile?

I've seen it,is the worst situation you'll encounter.starting with trimmed doors, trapped dishwashers, trimmed kitchen cabinets to fit your fridge, taller threshold for a trimmed door(to keep bugs out) your tile will crack over time, grout joints will wear out quick, don't have the chance to repair cracks, baseboards buried under tile, transition to other flooring will be too high, etc.

If it is a second or high floor it will add a tremendous amount of weight on the house structure.
If your tile setter recommends to lay tile over tile, run the opposite direction and don't look back!

18.-Is tile removal on second or higher floors more expensive?

Yes,because tile is laid on cement like board (
HardieBacker™,DUROCK®,WonderBoard®) many brands but this sub flooring is hard to pull out .Plus the time to carry debris down. All floor tile removal jobs a re different ,when it comes to pull out cement like
board is only matter of luck,to see how well is attached to the sub flooring.

19.-Which is the most difficult tile to remove?

We've done  travertine tile removal a couple of times that took us twice as much time and effort to remove than regular tile.
Most travertine flooring tile are thicker than regular ceramic or porcelain,So in order
to insure a nice flat installation a thicker mortar bed is required, making the tile
removal process worst than any other material the same is the case of the pretty nice
Slate tile installation. And any other stone.

20.-Is patio Tile removal the same price as interior tile?

No,outside tile removal is harder than any indoor tile, specially when is mid August in Arizona.Patio tile removal has never been easy, for some reason is harder than any
indoor floor tile removal.

21.-Do you remove toilets for free when you do tile demolition?

Yes, we do.we can have your toilet uninstalled in less than 3 minutes at not cost to you.
(there are some toilets that take way more time than 3 minutes to uninstall).
When there is no floor tile under your toilet it is pointless to remove it;although we
can still remove it for free.

22.-Can I do Floor Tile Demolition myself?

Sure, first get you some safety goggles (sharp fragments from ceramic, make nasty cuts) you also will need thick gloves, respirator a 4 lb hammer and flat cold chisel, very important cancel your gym membership (you'll stay fit for a couple of months)
and give it a whack. If it is too hard please don't forget to give us a call. That is why
we are the Floor Tile Demolition Specialist,we deal with stubborn tile all the time.

23.-If I pull out the tiles will you remove the thin set only?

Your price depends,if the work was done by yourself or somebody else walked out of your job.Either way there is always a solution (only next time have in mind...If you pay bananas you'll get monkeys to do the job) hire Us the first time around instead!
Most floor tile demolition half done that we've found were done by newbies who
thought that floor tile removal was a piece of cake, when the real deal comes, this
are the rats jumping off the sinking ship.
But don't worry we can work something out.We will be there for you.

24.-When I tap on the tiles, I hear a hollow sound, will they be easier to     remove?

Some Ceramic floor tile mostly saltillo have a convex form if not properly installed(it needs to have mortar spread in the convex part) will sound hollow;but the mortar on the concrete slab, could be hard to remove.
Most ceramic and porcelain tile installations make the hollow sound, some of them
are because the concrete slab was not level when the floor tile installation started.

  25.-Do you remove carpet,wood,laminate flooring?
